On Friday May 24th 2019 the fourth Groningen Symposium on Language and Social Interaction will take place at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. The symposium aims to bring together scholars interested in language and social interaction in everyday and institutional settings to present and discuss their work with colleagues from different (international) universities. Our keynote speaker is Jan Svennevig (University of Oslo).
GSLI welcomes contributions for 20-minute presentations followed by 10 minutes for questions on any topic investigating language and social interaction. Abstracts should not exceed 3000 characters including spaces (around 400 words), and can be uploaded from January 1st till February 15th , 2019 via www.gsli.nl.
